According to POCSO act section 9 and 10
parent, guardian, teacher or police officer of a child who commits child abuse shall be punished with imprisonment of not less than 5 years and not more than 7 years. There is also a fine in this.
According to POCSO act section 11 and 12
Exposing children to sexual activities, obscene talking on phone, sending e-mails, scolding, arousing sexual desire is a crime. The offender will be fined or imprisoned for a maximum of 3 years.
According to POCSO act section 13 and 14
Taking, selling, producing, giving away child pornography is an offence. It is a crime in any technology like internet site, computer. It is punishable with imprisonment of a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 7 years and fine.
According to POCSO act section 18
Attempt to commit sexual offense against children is punishable with imprisonment of up to 1 year and fine.
Involvement in sexual offenses against children is also an offense and is punishable under the same category of offender.
Concealment of sexual offenses against children is an offense under section 21, 6 months imprisonment if not fine.
